A number of different complementary techniques for adding new dimensions to your dry sound
AUDIO UNIT PLUGIN
Audio Unit Plugin (AUv3) technology means you can conveniently use multiple Kosmonauts in your projects – with full state saving
MAKES COMPLEX STUFF FEEL EASY
Although there’s lots of interesting stuff going on underneath Kosmonaut’s hood, the UI makes finding the sweetspots a breeze
Kosmonaut is Multitap Delay with a twist. In addition to adding echoes to your audio, it packs a bunch of extra tools to put your music in space:
– Tape looper with with variable sound-on-sound decay level – 4-Tap Delay (placed in series for complex feedback loops) – LP/HP filters with LFO – Autopanner – Ambiance Generator – Haas Effect Processor (aka ‘wavefront precedence effect’)
All features are demonstrated extensively in a ton of factory presets, and you can easily add your own user presets, which will automatically carry over across different host apps.
All variables are exposed as AU Parameters in hosts which support automation.
Tempo is automatically synchronized with the host tempo. No MIDI Clock or Ableton Link required (it’s right built into the AU).
It also has a smart Random-feature, which usually comes up with somewhat usable results 🙂
Kosmonaut requires iOS10 (iPad 4, iPhone 5S, iPod 6G and higher) and an AU compatible host app. Kosmonaut has standalone functionality with basic IAA and Audiobus 3 support. For optimal results using the AUv3 plugin is recommended.
